Immensity register purified

Last Wednesday, I visited Brest on the exhibition "Inuit Art Aboriginal art", already mentioned on the blog. Abbey Daoulas remained very calm during the working week. Large rooms if not visited, offered a quiet setting, almost wild, such as large tracts of desert sand and ice. The many whale bones carved Inuit tried improbable dialogue with Aboriginal artworks. I was trying to capture the potential trade between a powerful seal sculpted and pointillist paintings of Daniel Walbidi opposite. The exercise was difficult. The process could be reversed. The Inuit

re-invent a form of material is lost and half-fossilized, like an animal and spirit associated, in a nearby art in tactile works.
Aborigines, meanwhile, live in space, and disclaim transcend the notion of territory in a codified movement of abstraction on the canvas. A nomadic
opens windows closeup, close representations, while the other community opens and crashed into the vastness register purified.

painting by the artist Sonia Kurarra presented above provides a simplified and abstract variation of plants and animals of the wetlands of his native region. The convolutions hypnotic play with subtle shades and harmonious plant. The painting could traverse different worlds, a route of fishing and collecting, that of community gatherings, while thinking some body painting of the desert or on the grounds ringed Churinga sacred as here.

All exudes a quiet rhythmic power, as well as other paintings, this work has finally modestly and no official title.
