Roken
Yes we are villains, we thee left alone too long, you avid reader of new hollow. But here we are again. Your life will resume some sense, you'll have another conversation about the weather, no you do not shine in society, but when you talk to your drink alone at home, you less drunk.
t'avions We left when playing Grand Mix with Noah And The Whale. Following the concert we have decided not to play in the Grand Mix - the room is great, the public almost beautiful, and have a week to prepare for the concert, it's better than the normal 45 minutes. This decision has not been confirmed by our tour manager, we still hit the road with clenched teeth.
swallow our disappointment, we went in the SOUTH. Doubs, a desolate heat inhumane. Besancon, Roman city of the fourth century and telephone network of the fourth century. To capture the network, it must be pretty flexible and have a hands-free. We were greeted like royalty - like Jay apparently one of their local deities. So finally we said that on balance it was also nice to travel, to bring civilization to peoples disoriented. This summer we will go to Paris, Verdun, Dijon, and ... St. Cloud. Indeed we have agreed to lend our reputation to a small festival that begins: Rock En Seine. I think BRMC, Arcade Fire will thank us. I can already see the tears in his eyes "oh thank you bwana, thank you "" not enough Peter, you ought to rock, believe me, I have a sixth sense. "
short, soon people cursed, we arrive, no longer afraid . Your friends, Roken.

Reread the truths of nomadic peoples?

Daoulas Abbey, Britain.
It was a bold lead the meeting of two cultures housed in the antipodes. Between Arctic and Pacific, thousands of miles between Inuit and Australian Aborigines. This distance was considerable traveled by early man, the slow pace of generations, from the cradle Africa there are nearly 150 000 years.
Everything could be separated. The features of their faces, skin pigments, their eating habits, as well as their cultural practices. Given the vastness
ice in the desert red, stuffy, these men "first" s'ajustèrent.
It took courage to survive in these places, learn the codes, read the slightest signs specific to collect vital nuances. The Inuit language assumes the multiple states of the snow density and stresses that perception. Similarly the spatial, historical, spiritual places Aborigines demonstrate the importance of memory on the roads of life.
Where modern man would have brought the technology, they s'escrimèrent to keep only the essentials for developing other forms of intelligence, spatial perception and evocation minds. Shamanism, totemism gave a special resonance, meaningful, given the randomness which they remained subject. On these oceans of sand and ice, man inventive, curious, subtle parades developed to sustain his family.
Unlike our "straitjackets" materialists, they kept this sensitivity stripped, impulsive Early Man. The gesture of the artist accompanies a spontaneous creative impulse of the senses sharpened by listening to the signs left by the ancients. In both painting and sculpture, they invite us to reread the truths of nomadic peoples origins, with a decidedly contemporary pictorial grammar.
Art affirmed for them, as a means of expression, a vector of recognition and sustenance, except a passport policy in a world so ruled by the profit motive and shine .
This Monday, May 10, in Brittany, in the secret Abbey Daoulas be held on the opening of the exhibition Far North South, Inuit Art - Art Aborigines. I hesitated to make the trip. The dinner was an opportunity to meet other enthusiasts and share Aboriginal Art with the curators of the exhibition on the audacity of this exhibition.
