My meeting with Aboriginal art was the fruit chance. Missed an appointment in Amsterdam turns into a tour of the city of Utrecht and its beautiful Museum of Aamu . Since this discovery in 2004, the creative power of artists, their capacity for innovation, the emergence of new talent feeding my eye and a passion.
few weeks ago I was contacted by the Art Gallery of Western Australia for the loan of a canvas of the painter Sonia Kurarra. She is among 16 artists selected for the third Western Australian Indigenous Art Awards exhibition which will be held July 31 to January 3, 2011.
Crisis forces, transport is a bit complicated, the web will eventually in Europe and avoid thus increasing its load of CO2. The round trip between Australia and Europe have few boundaries and so many treasures are definitely available in Australia for the exhibition.
At nearly 60 years, painting for quite some time, Sonia Kurarra is increasingly sought after by curators in Australia. There is a rising figure of Mangkaja Fitzroy. Like in his works
side "compulsive and expressionist" said Katie McGuire, coordinator of the art center. I still characterized by these keys deconstructed, almost atomized. They gradually take possession of the painting and have constructed an elaborate structure, almost magnetic.
This painting will complement the work in the above link and it presented on the blog a few months earlier ...
